Verification, Validation & Assurance

Build the evidence needed to demonstrate fitness, manage risk and support accountable decisions across systems and systems of systems.

The problem

Passing tests does not necessarily demonstrate mission fitness.

Programs can generate large volumes of test results, compliance records and review material without establishing whether the complete capability is suitable for its intended use.

Requirements can be verified individually while operational scenarios, interoperability and emergent systems-of-systems behaviour remain insufficiently validated. Decision-makers need confidence that evidence is relevant, traceable and clear about what remains uncertain.

Independent assurance should test whether the evidence supports the claimed conclusion, expose material gaps and explain the consequences of uncertainty.
